Don’t get caught out by the PSTN (legacy phone lines) switch-off in 2025

As of 2025, legacy telephone lines (PSTN) will be terminated across the UK and from 2020 these are no longer purchasable. If you do not have a VoIP phone system before this date, your phone will cease operating. 40% of Small-Medium businesses are not currently using VoIP phone systems.

It is important to consider taking action as soon as possible instead of waiting until nearer the 2025 deadline, as the migration of services has already begun and notice is served on more than a hundred phone exchanges across the UK in June 2021.
