Our Statement Against Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

Our business and view

Spectrum IT Consultancy provides quality ICT services and support to businesses, organisations, charities and schools.

Modern slavery is an undisputable and indefensible violation of an individual’s basic human rights. We recognise that as a registered business we have a moral and social responsibility to take a zero tolerance approach to slavery in all forms. As a company we are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in all of our activities, and to ensuring, as far is reasonably possible, that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Our supply chain and due diligence

Spectrum IT Consultancy fully commits to its corporate social responsibilities which includes zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking.

We resell products and services which are provided by trusted and reputable suppliers which fully commit to the prevention of modern slavery. Our procurement lead is given training around modern slavery awareness.

As part of our due diligences to prevent Slavery and Human Trafficking we take the following actions:

  • Prior to employment, every contractor, temporary staff and permanent employees provide original documentation confirming proof of ID, right to work and proof of address
  • Disclosure and Barring Service checks are mandatory for permanent employees, contractors, or temporary staff that work in school or healthcare premises via Spectrum IT Consultancy
  • Contractors, temporary staff and employee remunerations are salaried into authorised accounts.
  • Regular reviews of Terms and Conditions of our suppliers;

We measure our progress in contributing to tackle modern slavery using the following KPIs; instances of modern slavery identified in our supply chain and staff trained on modern slavery awareness.

This statement is made in pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Spectrum IT Consultancy’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 January 2025.
